Hi!

Well, last year I discovered Optophobia from Germany. What I can say, I love them, great atmosphere in their songs, I usually listen to them when I'm walking alone into the nature (mountains, fields etc), I recommend them if you like black metal/raw black metal

The most surprising, jaw-dropping band I found out lately is PICTURES OF PAIN, and the New album's WORLD DEMISE really blowing my mind.

Just discovered Fleshgod Apocalypse a few months ago, such an amazing band.
Great to introduce classical into death metal

Arkona and Black Kirin.
Arkona has to be one of the best folk metal bands out there IMO

Wilderun are amazing. Folk/prog/symphonic of epic proportions. Give their latest album Sleep at the Edge of the Earth if you don't believe me.

Just "discovered" Exgenesis. Their EP "Aphotic Veil" is pretty sweet, give it a listen.

Watain and Conan. They're not new, just new to me. I tend to go through periods of all metal, then all ... I dunno, whatever Covenant and Neuroticfish would be. Anyway, my friend introduced me to these bands and I'm back on my metal kick. Same guy who introduced this site to me.
