This is Technical Heavy Metal, not Progressive Rock. Think of it as Nevermore or similar.
This album is fantastic. It has an old-school feel, & blends the vibes of a number of different genres together. This should appeal to a wide audience of music listeners. It has an authentic raw edge that doesn't feel forced at all, reminds me of TOOL's Opiate at times. The vocalist is great too. Unexpected & awesome material. Many thanks for this upload!
