Black metal from Norway -- as usual, a safe bet!

But not only the usual classic black metal. Note, it says melodic up there, and indeed, we have melodic black metal here, but still, that doesn't adequately describe this team's albums... Variety of stylistic approaches in here; there's some violin sections somewhere, some less-than-pounding blackened metal, and of course, plenty of heavy, gnarly Norwegian Black Metal to fill us with joy.

Currently my third time through the discography; the second time, I slept through the entire thing -- a sign ov very good music. Now, it's motivating me to do house cleaning -- this music is not short on lively, inspiring, motivational energy.
