 info La Scaltra is a darkwave/goth band from Essen, Germany.
The idea came up in 2015 and was implemented in 2016 as a fixed project: two women, one man. Two voices, keyboard, guitar, bass plus synth sounds and drums from the machine.
A lot has changed since then: Today's line-up consists of three girls (bass - Saeda, vocals - Aeleth, keyboards / background vocals - Dae) and Jay on the guitar. La Scaltra receives support on merchandise from Re Né and lighting and sound technology from Luxifer and Sebbl.
With a label deal with SOLAR LODGE Records (Merciful Nuns / Garden Of Delight) concluded in 2016, La Scaltra released a 4 track release of the first (unlabeled) album "Cabaret" called "Ghosts EP".
The second full-length album "Freakshow" was released under SOLAR LODGE and achieved very good sales figures.
In 2018 La Scaltra u. a. at the Amphi Festival Cologne and look forward to further gigs in their home country.
