After the debut album "Der Weisse Raum" was released in 2010, 2012 was a truly fantastic year for dream dancers. Numerous concerts were played, a tour through Germany with Umbra et Imago, the wonderful WGT 2012 and a wonderful concert with The Mission.
The recordings for the second album were in full swing and a release was planned for mid-2013.
Typical for dream dancers are the rocky, powerful but also danceable songs, as well as thoughtful, calm pieces in which the strings are particularly in the foreground and give the songs a classic touch.
But sometimes fate strikes cruelly. Marco Blum, the singer of Traumtaenzer, had a very serious accident at the end of 2012. He suffered several life-threatening injuries and was in intensive care for a long time after the coma. After a long hospital stay and many other blows of fate, Marco Blum gradually struggled back into his life.
Many things changed for him now, but he never gave up.
In the meantime, producer and songwriter Tom O'Connell also had to focus primarily on his other projects, so that he had to put dream dancers on hold. This year the debut album almost sold out and the only official video clip "For the Night" reached the 260,000 views mark on YouTube. The fan base held up and expanded despite the adverse circumstances.
In the meantime, five years have passed in which Marco has largely recovered from his serious injuries and a few months ago began to bring dream dancers back to life. On December 21st, 2017 a new video for the single "Have no fear" was released, which was released on the same day. The song means a lot to Marco Blum. Because it is not an invented story, but something experienced. At that time, December 21, 2012 was the day the world was going to end, but for him it was the day he woke up from a coma and saw a rocky road ahead.
VanValia - Böser Fuchs, Traumtaenzer has been supporting them since May 2018. Together they played their first concert after a long time at WGT 2018.
