Powerful and wholly awesome black metal ! Crazy !!
After the beautiful and chilling choral intro, the insanity begins. This album is fully insane, with all the good features that should be present in crazy brutal black metal! Furious percussion, sinewy & weird riffy guitar, hoarse-growly vocalist, tolling sinister bells.. Compared to the earlier albums, I say this one is equally good, perhaps slightly more furious, and possibly with slightly better sound, due to its recentness, although I really don't remember there being a particular problem with the sound in the earlier albums. Apokalyptikon -- insane! Children of the Urn -- insane!
These crazy birds are flocking 10 / 10 again.
