Aha, can rarely fault Finland for their Death Metal!!

Enjoying this band so far, partway into the first few songs on this album. Began with a hint of sympho in the intro, then sounded like metalcore for a moment (and again now like metalcore as I still listen) but the unclean vocals are from melodic death, not metalcore. There are a few calm areas of acoustic (less distorted intermission?) guitar with some big toms for background drums, surrounded by powerful speedy melodic death-metal and power-like guitar sections, and of course the requisite double-bass drums. A nice performance by talented musicians, 7+ / 10 especially if you like a bit of metalcore sound.
