Thanks
Thank you so much !!!
#6 of 7 Bulgarian music we're listening to today.
And this one is very nice! Yes, believe it or not, I don't detest this one. Finally.
It's not a standard assortment of music on this CD so I am listening again now and will return here after it's done.
OK, I'm back.. Let's establish some things:
1) The music is good, above average good.
2) It seems like 3 different bands made this album.
3) Is there a melodic black metalcore? Hmmm.
4) Some may prefer to rate this album track by track.
5) In spite of #4, there may be a story being told by the whole.
Some of this CD is like Вой doom metal, percolated with some nice but genre-less clean guitar playing. Here and there, some bursts of basically groovy metalcore appearing.. Overall, while there are melodic parts, and some black metal bits, it doesn't sound like much "melodic black metal" I've listened to, though there can be such wide variance. There's some pretty straight-forward death-metally sections in here, and even some random bits of synth.
8+ / 10 for the quality of the music, musicians' abilities, etc.
7- / 10 as I can't "get into" this album: it's all over the place too much.
Thank you varlam4, for the opportunity to hear this MBM from Bulgaria!
(#7 of 7 will be Darkflight when I get there -- they have several albums...)
