Arturo Huizar is usually recognized as a Mexican heavy metal pioneer. It all started in 1983 when he joined the band Luzbel as singer.

After Arturo Huizar left LUZBEL he sung for a while in the band RAXAS. Later he gathered new musicians from the band EL SANTO OFICIO. First he planned to call his solo project EL EMISARIO, and the first Maxi single got this name, but then he prefered to use his own name. He got quite successful with his band, and the media reported much about them in magazines, radio and TV. The quality of the music could not have been the reason for that, as it was much weaker than the one of LUZBEL. Maybe it are the lyrics which justify such a fame, as they were again very cryptic and intelligent. They played live all over the country. In 1992 LUZBEL resurrected with Arturo, which meant the end of his solo project. Later he became the only original member in this band, and you could call it now also his solo project. In 2001 a double CD box, called "Pasado Sin Destino", was released, which contains all material of the band.

Huizar was the solo band of Transmetal / Luzbel vocalist Arturo Huizar and formed in 1983. The band consisted of himself alongside musicians from the band El Santo Oficio. They played live all over Mexico and were frequently featured in magazines, radio and TV. In 1992 Luzbel was reformed with Arturo and Huizar was put to rest. In 2001 a double CD box called "Pasado Sin Destino" was released with all material of the band.
