Large Marge is a hard rock band from Lake Charles. A small city way down south in Louisiana . The members of the band all came from other local acts that had been regularly playing shows together for a few years. Consisting of bands such as Lake Charles' own legendary swamp metal heavyweights "Choke", psychedelic stoner rock band "Dead End Lake", whiskey drenched front porch rockers "2nd Party Program" and the early 70's era crank it to 11er's "Mothership". All coming from slightly different backgrounds, each member managed to bring a certain spice to the table, kinda like a huge pot of "knock you on yer ass gumbo" that has slowly simmered together melding into what they be known as "swampfuzz". To sum up what just that means exactly "SwampFuzz is mixture of retro late 60's and 70's hard rock with plenty of VERY heavy blues rock influence with plenty of psych elements and a bit of southern twang to it."
